First and foremost, I am a mom to two girls, they are my everything. Our house is often filled with dancing, gymnastics, barbies, and a lot of talking. I wouldn't trade it for anything! We have our fur baby Pippi, she is sweet and spicy at the same time lol. I was born and raised in Richland, moved away for about 13 years to the west side and came back where my family is! My passion for photography has been there for as long as I can remember. When I was kid I would often pose my friends for a photo shoot. I would pick up my very fancy disposable camera and create the masterpiece. And that love to create photos and learn only grew.
I am very close with my family! I have two older sisters, my best friends, and great parents. I am very lucky to have them all living in the same area. Family is very valuable and I will never underestimate that.
In a world full of chaos and hard things, there are is also so much Joy, I love to capture that, freeze moments that you can hold on to forever. Or allowing someone to express who they are, when they can't put it into words otherwise. Photography is absolutely a creative and emotional expression for me, I feel honored to be able to call it my job!

Natural photography
A mix of candid, movement and Natural Smiles for the Camera
Having your photos done should be a fun and laid experience! I go into it with the goal that you feel comfortable and yourself. If you don't love having your photo taken, don't worry I've got you. I get it, that's why I am on the other side lol. I will guide you the entire time on what you need to do, but I don't expect you to stay in a stiff posed position. Move around, laugh, hug, do what you feel comfortable doing. I will often ask you to sit how you naturally would, they position from there.
When it comes to kiddos, let's capture them being kids! If they are silly, let's get that. If they are quiet and reserved, let's get that. I am pretty big goof myself so I work to get their natural smiles and relax by talking about favorites, telling them about my kids, or doing some goofy moves to get them to smile. I pay attention to your child's reaction to gage the best approach. I will also ask for any helpful information before our session that helps everyone to feel at ease and have fun!
I do a mix of smiling at the camera, and candid movement style photos. I personally love having both, so why not do both! I'm always available to answer questions and give input as you plan our outfits before our session. So never hesitate to ask or send information! The more I know, the better.
